We install all kinds of parquet flooring systems: floating, glued down, nailed down onto battens. Using our experience and a consultation, we can help you decide which is the best system for your project
MULTI-LAYER PARQUET
Multi-layer parquet is made up of a base of damp resistant birch plywood which provides ground stability and an upper layer of hardwood. The exquisite layer of birch supports our genuine oak floorboards. We’ve harmoniously balanced the weight of the birch with that of the oak per cubic metre. By doing so we obtain the best dimensional stability. The acoustic qualities that we obtain with the birch plywood are the same as those that would be achieved by using a solid oak base. Thereby giving the sensation of walking on a traditional solid oak floor. Many of our floors made with a birch plywood base have passed strict quality control tests to guarantee zero delamination; a crucial element to ensure the longevity of the flooring and control of internal humidity and changes of temperature.
HARDWOOD PARQUET FLOORING
Hardwood flooring is entirely comprised of hardwood. Natural oak, stripped oak, untreated or crude oak – ideal for the wood loving purist. The importance of selecting the trees marks the start of a long and very personalised process. Genuine oaks revived in Europe during the last century, are the slowest growing and an adult oak has the densest grain producing the most stable wood.
VERSAILLES PANELS
Undoubtedly, one of the most well-known types of parquet flooring is the “Versaille panel flooring”. As the name suggests this can be found in the Palace of Versaille, however, it is also frequently found in many other palaces and elite houses.
