But none of this would work without a floor that accompanies, that tucks you in, that speaks the same language. In this project, the wood flooring is not a mere background: it is the emotional starting point. With that premise, Moskito Parquets proposed a combination that mixes nobility, craftsmanship and sensitivity: aged oak flooring with the classic Hungarian or Chevron stitch and a special design in geometric Diamond AD format. Each of these decisions turns the floor into the invisible thread that connects the furniture, defines the environments and gives soul to the space.

A place to stay. Or to dream of staying.

Pieces with history and floors that frame them.

Entering this furniture store is like stepping into a universe of inspiring objects: antique leather armchairs, lamps with character, decorative sculptures, reinvented chests of drawers, cushions with soft textures, leather plaids that shelter the eye… All carefully selected to create a warm, elegant and lively atmosphere. And, of course, the floor had to be up to the task.

For this project, Moskito Parquets opted for a combination of wooden floors that, rather than accompanying, define the identity of the space: solid oak flooring aged in Hungarian point and a custom design in Diamond AD format.

The timeless charm of aged oak

The basis of the project is solid oak flooring with an aged finish, which brings warmth and character from the moment you step inside. The marked grain and natural knots connect with the vintage aesthetic of the store, while the dark, brushed finish provides a rich and enveloping texture.

This type of flooring is not only beautiful, but also highly resistant, perfect for a commercial space with heavy foot traffic, where the floor must look impeccable without losing its authenticity.

Hungarian point: classic elegance reinterpreted

To mark out different areas within the space, a Hungarian point installation was chosen, one of the most sophisticated patterns in the world of parquet flooring. Its precise and symmetrical geometric design adds rhythm and visual depth to the store, guiding the visitor’s journey and accompanying the staging of the pieces on display.

This choice is no coincidence: the Hungarian point blends perfectly with the store’s mix of styles, adding a touch of classic sophistication reinterpreted in a contemporary key.

A unique design for a unique store: Diamond AD

In the central area, special prominence was given to the Diamond AD parquet design, a proposal inspired by the ancient decorative panels of European palaces, but with a modern reinterpretation. This type of pattern, crafted with precision, turns the floor into another piece of furniture, a decorative work that adds aesthetic value to the whole.

Combined with the warmth of oak and satin finishes, this wooden floor creates a sculptural effect that aligns with the refined taste of the store: every object tells a story, and so does the floor.

Moskito’s Versailles parquet flooring is part of our geometric flooring collection.

Floors that don’t just decorate: they create atmospheres

The result of this combination of formats, materials, and finishes is a space with a strong personality, where the floor acts as a common thread between the different areas and styles. It is not a simple neutral background, but an active part of the setting, accompanying, enhancing, and bringing cohesion.

In projects like this, the wooden floor ceases to be a support and becomes a narrative element: it speaks of a taste for authenticity, the value of craftsmanship, and the desire to create spaces with identity.
